Many of our designs arise through discussion and consultation. Ideas are drawn and redrawn to arrive at something which is appropriate for the project. Our design drawings allow for the intervention of the materials themselves during making and each piece becomes a unique object.
Site-Specific Work: We make work on any scale for events, exhibitions and
specific locations.
Previous commissions include representing British Design at the International Expo in Lisbon; designing and building the Wicker Man for the Wickerman Music Festival ; designing and presenting the finale for “Painful Creatures”, an International touring event for Mischief La Bas; designing and presenting a Giant figure for the Millennium Celebrations in Glasgow’s West-End; designing and making costumes for the “Earth Centre” in Doncaster………(Include Links)
The Green Option
Our work also involves the use of green willow to create structures that will grow and develop continually. The willow is combined with Oak to create structures that will become part of their surroundings.
Benches can be made with living hoods whose character will change with each season.
